We recently met Harold Wimberly, Jr. in Las Vegas while attending the Cowboy Christmas Art Show that coincides with the National Finals Rodeo. We went there to see Shane Knight’s booth and of course have a little fun.

When Wimberly walked into Shane’s booth we noticed something unusual about him. He actually had a pretty sizable film camera around his neck which is very rare these days. I knew two minutes into the conversation we had a lot to talk about.

It turns out that Wimberly is not only a Circuit Court Judge in Knoxville, but also an incredible photographer, whose heart is in landscape photography of the West. We were fortunate to mount the photo on copper dibond(metal) and frame this photograph. It was taken at the Neon Museum, Las Vegas.

Wimberly uses Thompson Photo, one of Knoxville’s oldest businesses to make his prints. The print has made it back home to the lab and is hanging there with more of Wimberly’s fine work.
